My first year in Kindergarten is coming to a close. As I prepare to shut my classroom down for the summer, I am reflecting on the year. It was such a whirlwind, to say the least. I feel like I never really got a chance to stop and really breathe before I had to hit the ground running again and again. Those sweet kindergarteners have taught me so much about myself as a person and as a teacher. We have laughed together, cried together, but most important of all, we have learned together. I never imagined I would love teaching a grade so much, but I truly do. Kindergarten is my place. Don't get me wrong, this job is HARD. It is so hard, but it is also so very rewarding. I spend a year molding children who have little to no school experience into students who love learning and drink whatever knowledge you pour into them.
